Design: 20 Something Princess

Market

20 - 25 y/o's who are single and buy perfume for attracting others rather than making a statement about themselves/ boosting confidence. These perfumes often have names that imply love and relationships.

Reference Ads

This market is most commonly targeted in Glamour and Vogue, it is a more traditional angle of romance and fairytale traditions. There is usually a couple used in the advert that sells an idealistic relationship that can be had from using the perfume.
The colours used throughout these adverts and products are typically feminine and gentle, using beige, pink and silver.

This advert doesn't try and cover it's selling techniques, simply calling the fragrance 'Marry Me!'

Evaluation

Overall I think that this packaging fits the intended audience, even though it is over the top fairy tale-y, which would be toned back in an actual advertising campaign, it clearly places itself apart from the other 2 perfumes. If this would extend I could look into adverts that pop up during tv shows such as One Tree Hill, The OC and reality tv shows like TOWIE etc.
